Faye Knight is a contemporary landscape artist in Berkshire UK. Her impressionistic paintings of the English countryside and country gardens are usually created using acrylic paint applied with a palette knife.
Having been a full-time mother to my two boys, a bank assistant, dental nurse and furniture up-cycler, it’s only been in more recent years that I’ve committed full-time to my passion for painting.
I aim to reflect my love of the English countryside and the changing of the seasons through a vibrant colour palette and impressionist style. I’ve always been happiest when designing and creating. Having used a variety of mediums over the years, I continue to study artists old and modern to explore and experiment with my own style. In the last few years I have found the greatest freedom using acrylics with palette knives.
After studying Art and Technical Drawing at college I graduated in Interior Design at Rhodec International.
I'm a member of Faringdon Art Society, an accredited member of West Berkshire and North Hampshire Open Studios and a member of West Ox Arts Gallery.
